It's not a loop. It's a spiral. Every time I write the ending, the town rewrites the beginning, and I'm still in the water, still holding the pages.

A talk show with no audience. A film that finishes shooting before it's written. Somewhere between the reels there's a song, and the song is doing the same job as the gun — it clears a path.

Old Gods of Asgard cut this in 1976 and it keeps arriving early. Drop the needle and the town hears its own plot read back to it.
